Our History
Welcome to Northdale Christian Academy (NCA) in Tampa, FL. We are a preschool – 8th grade private, Christian school, fully accredited by the National Council of Private School Accreditation (NCPSA). NCA has been providing an excellent Christian education to its students since 2000. NCA is located in Hillsborough County and nestled in the quiet community of Carrollwood/Greater Northdale just minutes from Downtown Tampa and serves a diverse student body. NCA is owned and operated by Northdale Evangelical Lutheran Church and is affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). WELS is the fourth largest private school system in the country and has been operating schools of Christian education since 1850. WELS affiliated schools are located in 33 states and Antigua, Grenada, and St. Lucia.
The Christian education program of Northdale Christian Academy strives to provide for the complete educational welfare of each child and to guide him or her in the maximum development of his or her spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical abilities. Parents and teachers work together in their common goal of training God’s children to walk in His ways.

My son will be going into the 6th grade and will be his fourth year at Northdale Christian Academy. We are very pleased to have our son in a smaller school with very dedicated teachers. The 2020 school year was very challenging with the distance learning. The teachers at NCA really stepped up to the challenge and went above and beyond to educate our son.
