Formerly known as Northdale Lutheran School, Northdale Christian Academy offers excellence in Christian education in a safe and caring environment. Our teachers stand ready to partner with you to provide the education your child needs. As part of the North Tampa area, our campus is located near the communities of Greater Carrollwood, Citrus Park, Greater Northdale, Lake Magdalene, Lutz, Keystone, and Odessa. Families have attended Northdale from as far away as Town ‘n Country, Sulphur Springs, Holiday, Land O’ Lakes, Dade City, Wesley Chapel, and Zephyrhills.

Northdale Christian Academy has received exemplary accreditation. We have proven compliance with WELSSA’s educational standards and are a member in good standing. We file an annual report detailing their progress in meeting their goals and staying in compliance with the WELSSA standards.
My son will be going into the 6th grade and will be his fourth year at Northdale Christian Academy. We are very pleased to have our son in a smaller school with very dedicated teachers. The 2020 school year was very challenging with the distance learning. The teachers at NCA really stepped up to the challenge and went above and beyond to educate our son. Thank You to the staff at NCA, it is greatly appreciated!

After interviewing a few schools, our family choose Northdale Christian Academy, hands down. Mr. Mattes and staff made us feel like we would be part of a family and that the kid's spiritual and educational needs were the number 1 priority. The experience so far has been amazing! Our daughter has been attending NLS for 3 years now and she absolutely loves it. The classes are small and the teachers and principal are very caring. We love the fact that our daughter is learning in a Christian environment. We most definitely recommend this school to anyone in the Tampa Bay area looking for grades K-8th!
